Questions about plans and billing
When will prices be published?
Prices are being finalised before launch and will appear on this page. The plan limits shown here are the ones the service is built around.
How are taxes handled?
Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. Creem calculates, collects and pays VAT, GST or sales tax for your country, shows the tax at checkout and issues your receipts and invoices. If you buy for a business, you can enter a tax ID at checkout where that applies.
Which currencies can I pay in?
Prices are set in euros (EUR) and US dollars (USD).
Is yearly billing cheaper?
Yes. Paying for a year at once costs less than twelve monthly payments. The exact difference will be shown with the prices.
Do I pay per address or per domain?
Neither. You pay per account. Aliases and domains are included up to your plan limits, and adding an alias never changes your bill.
What does the Free plan include, exactly?
Free is a forwarding plan. You sign up with the email address you already have (for example Gmail or Outlook), connect one domain and create up to 10 aliases. Mail to those aliases is forwarded to your existing inbox. There is no mailbox, webmail or IMAP on the Free plan.
How do replies work on the Free plan?
When we forward a message, its reply address is replaced with a unique reverse alias. When you press reply in your usual inbox, the reply goes through us and is sent from your alias, so the other side never sees your real address. Reverse aliases can only reply to the person who wrote to you, and there is a daily limit.
What happens if I downgrade or cancel?
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. After that, features beyond your new plan stop working, but stored mail is not deleted because of a downgrade, and it is there again if you upgrade. Deleting your account is a separate, explicit step.
Is there a free trial of paid plans?
We plan to offer a trial of paid plans. The details will be announced together with prices.
Can I use eoinbox for a team or family?
eoinbox is built for individual accounts. There are no shared mailboxes, groups, admin roles or family plans. Using it for your own one-person business is fine.
Do you show ads or sell data?
No. The service is paid for by subscriptions. We do not show ads, build advertising profiles or sell data.
