eoinbox is personal email. To keep it working for everyone, and to keep our servers' reputation good enough that your mail reaches people's inboxes, these uses are not allowed.
1. Not allowed
- Spam: unsolicited bulk or commercial mail, mailing lists without clear consent, or buying and using address lists.
- Phishing and fraud: impersonating other people, companies or services; collecting credentials or payment details under false pretences.
- Malware: sending or hosting viruses or other harmful software.
- Illegal content under the laws that apply to us or to you.
- Harassment: threats, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact.
- Look-alike domains: connecting domains designed to imitate another brand (for example
paypa1.com). - Abusing reverse aliases on the Free plan to send anything other than replies to people who wrote to you.
- Evading limits: creating multiple accounts or other tricks to get around sending or plan limits.
- Attacking the service: probing, scanning or overloading our systems, except through our security contact process.
2. Sending limits
Each plan has a daily sending limit (see pricing). New accounts and newly connected domains start with lower limits that rise with good history. Accounts with high bounce or complaint rates may have sending paused automatically.
3. What we do about breaches
Depending on severity, we may warn you, limit sending, pause specific addresses or domains, or suspend the account. [TO DECIDE: notice and appeal process.]
4. Reporting abuse
Report abuse originating from eoinbox to abuse@eoinbox.com. Include the full message headers if you can.
